A break from the studying…

Ok, so I am SO mad that I had to forgo hiking “Cerro de la Silla” in order to study! It’s like the most famous mountain in Monterrey – the landmark of the entire Nuevo Leon region.

… and I had to cancel the hike in order to get some much needed studying done. I’ll try to finagle some free time my last days here to see if I can at least hike some of the trail!

So, you can’t study ALL weekend without having some sort of fun. So, after watching a hilarious display of some Blue Collar Comedy Tour, Gabriel Iglesias, and an Indian comic who I forgot his name but is pure comedy, we decided to have a few drinks at our favorite local establishment… the “Luv Pub.” I kid you not, that is the name of the bar. The boys were drinking Absinth and some other flourescant-colored flaming shots, but knowing full-well I had to get up early and STUDY the next morning, I stuck with the old classic “sex on the beach.” Good times…

The animals, have literally gone wild on the TEC de Monterrey campus. I am trying to study, and there are three deer running up and down the halls, chasing each other, fighting, and just acting crazy (they jumped over the fenced-enclosure), the peacock is having a fit, squawking and fanning out his feathers, and the ducks are attacking random passersby, and anyone that just happens to be so unlucky! What the heck is going on today?! I guess it’s Sunday, the animals rule the campus that day! George Orwell anyone?

Ok… back to the books…
