Totally random - but as a friend as I were touring around Prague the other day, we came across a car completely covered with mobile phones - mostly Siemens phones!

In fact, I pretty much had ALL of the Siemens phones that I saw stuck to the car - including the good old S55 and M55! Love those phones! Miss them! But, it got me thinking about my old friends at Siemens. That was my FIRST step into the "real world," where I went from being a 20 year old lifeguard, to a "young executive," as my Dad says! Those were those days... from interning with the PR guy to working INSANE events for the company - I learned quite a lot - not to mention made amazing lifelong friends. It's funny how one thing almost opens the door to the next - but I think I can trace my international interests and where I am today all the way back to sitting in the marketing cubicles either running after the FedEX truck or tracking for coverage of our latest mobile phones. Working for this global giant really opened my eyes and helped ignite my interest of international business. My managers and colleagues were (are) exceptional mentors who took me under their wings and have taught me SO much. From Siemens to Spain to Phoenix (Brodeur) now Thunderbird (currently in Prague) - I've ventured on quite the journey - and am SO excited what adventures are next. But for now, I look back on my time at Siemens - and am so grateful for the opportunity to have learned so much, and to have worked with such great people.
Now... off to finance class - then Vienna!!! Yeah for world travelers!
