Escuela

On my first day of school, my tico brother Jarod, brought me to school and introduced me to the teacher like I was in kindergarten! 4 hours a day, 5 days a week of intensive Spanish. It’s wonderful being able to speak Spanish all the time again. My professor, Gabriel, is young and very patient with me. I have another guy Dirceu (from Brazil), en mi clase as well, thankfully the other two girls who were in my class, although they were very sweet, were HORRIBLE at speaking the language, asked way too many questions, and took about 10 minutes just to say a sentence. That was frustrating to say the least, but now, class is much better, and flows nicely! The school is amazing. We have lunch everyday (gallopinto is of course one of the options), and an assortment of other things ranging from spaghetti, to sandwiches to burritos. I guess they are trying to bring a taste of other cultures to the school to make everyone feel at home! They offer dancing lessons everyday, and even cooking lessons, WiFi, travel bookings and a various array of awesome services to their students. I think I will stay away from the cooking classes, that could be bad!
