10) Luggage arriving split in half, and having to buy a new suit case my first day. Most people buy shirts or hats as souvenirs, I buy luggage.
9) Having monkeys eat breakfast with us sitting on the chairs across the table in Manuel Antonio.
8) Not getting killed crossing the insanely busy intersection by school – cross walks don’t exist here! Wait, I take that back... there is one, only one.
7) Learning to take 2 minute showers because that’s how long the hot water lasts before it turns into water straight from the arctic.
6) Adjusting to the fact that you can’t flush the toilet paper here.
5) Hailing the only illiterate and slightly mentally retarded, not real and only on weekends, cab driver in Costa Rica.
4) 3 Screwdrivers and Denny’s… need I say more?
3) Christina and I trying to run down/up the steep steps to our house so the dog doesn’t attack us!
2) Seeing some of the most beautiful landscapes, mountain vistas, sunsets and beaches I have ever seen.
